  Switching power adapter, also known as power adapter, is also called charger; it is an external power conversion device, which can usually convert AC power to DC power and at the same time convert the voltage. So how is the switching power adapter produced? What is the specific process? In fact, the switching power adapter is divided into two stages from development to formal mass production. Today the power adapter manufacturer will introduce to you.

  One, the development process

  First of all, according to the needs of use, design the appearance and confirm it. Open the mold and produce the shell.

  Secondly, according to the performance requirements, the electronic engineer develops the electronic circuit part, selects the appropriate solution, designs the electronic schematic diagram, and draws the circuit board (PCB) drawing, and submits it to the circuit board manufacturer to make the PCB sample.

  Next, electronic engineers make manual samples, and then perform various tests such as performance testing, assembly testing, and aging testing on the samples.

  Then, after the sample test is ok. Develop PCB production molds. Conduct small batch trial production. Will there be any problems with testing during the production process? Then adjust accordingly.

  Finally, finalize the circuit board (PCB). If the PCB is changed, the mold needs to be reopened. Make specifications, work instructions, inspection instructions and other corresponding files.

  2. Mass production process

  1, SMT (SMT): The materials are ready, and after the inspection is qualified, the PCB is passed through the SMT machine for the SMT process;

  2, plug-in (DIP): The PCB is pasted, and the plug-in is pulled up to perform the plug-in process. DIP will be subdivided into: plug-in, pressing parts, immersion tin, cutting electronic feet and other processes;.

  3. Post-soldering (repair soldering): After the plug-in is pulled up, the circuit board after tin immersion, and some electronic components have not been tinned well, at this time, post-soldering is needed to solve the problem.

  The post-welding drawing process is subdivided into:

  After wave soldering: Solder the plug-in again by the machine and pull it up, and there is no electronic material that is tinned well during the immersion tin;

  Kanban repair soldering: usually a PCB is divided into areas, and many people perform manual Kanban. If there is no good tin, then manually repair it. If there are few electronic components and not plugged in, they should also be marked;

  Replacement of electronic materials: electronic materials are inserted reversely, and the process of correcting fewer parts;

  QC test 1: Pass the production of supporting test tools. Test the bare board. If the test is OK, go to the next process. If the test fails, then repair it to the repairman;

  4. Assembly: This process is the most complicated, and it is also the process that most tests the level of production technology.

  A. Welding wire: Weld the DC wire to the bare board. Solder the AC wire to the lower metal part of the shell.

  B. Gluing: Gluing the components that are easy to fall off and break during transportation. Pass through solder joints with transformers, filters, AC lines and DC lines, etc.

  C. Housing: Close the housing of the switching power supply adapter.

  D.QC test 2: Through a computer comprehensive tester, test whether each output performance meets the standard. If it does not pass, hand it over to the repairman to fix it on site. Test again until it passes the test.

  E. Repair: Repair the switching power adapter that fails the test.

  F. Screwing: Fix the shell. Some shells use ultrasound. It is placed behind the i.QC test 3 process;

  H. Aging test: Transfer the screwed products to the aging workshop for aging test. After a certain period of aging test. Then transfer back to the assembly to do the final full inspection QC test.

  I.QC test 3: The last full inspection is to perform a full inspection on the product after the aging test. If it fails, send it back to e. for repair. After the test is passed, the next process is carried out.

  J. Ultrasonic: If the shell is fixed with screws, this process is unnecessary.

  K. Appearance QC: Here we need to pick out the problematic appearance. Replace the shell.

  L. Attach the nameplate: After the appearance inspection is ok. Put the corresponding label on the product.

  M. Packaging: After the product has passed the inspections. For finished product packaging.
