High-power switching power supplies are widely used in electronic equipment in a variety of fields, such as industrial automation control, military equipment, scientific research equipment, medical equipment, electronic refrigerators, liquid crystal displays, and so on. But how much do you know about the working principle of high-power switching power supply?
1. The AC power input is rectified and filtered into DC;
2, the switching tube is controlled by a high-frequency pulse width modulation signal, and direct current is added to the primary of the switching transformer;
3. After a high frequency voltage is induced in the secondary of the switching transformer, it is rectified and filtered and supplied to the load;
4. The output part is fed back to the control circuit through a certain circuit to control the pulse width modulation duty cycle to achieve the purpose of stable output.
5. When the AC power is input, it usually passes through something like a current circle, in order to be able to filter out the interference on the power grid and at the same time filter the interference of the power supply to the power grid;
6. When the power is the same, the higher the switching frequency, the smaller the volume of the switching transformer, but the higher the requirements for the switching tube;
7, the secondary of the switching transformer can have multiple windings or one winding has multiple taps to get the required output;
8. Generally, some protection circuits should be added, such as no-load, short-circuit protection, etc., otherwise the switching power supply may be burned.
